I want to be able to offer the students more opportunities for lifelong activities. With this equipment I will be able to offer more opportunities for my students to learn things that I did as a child. I want to help the students be able to appreciate nature, coordinating with our local fish club that teaches classes about angling and protecting the environment. Many students that may have never held a fishing pole before will have the opportunity with this equipment. With this equipment our school may also be able to coordinate further trips to lakes, rivers and streams away from the more urban environments. This will give the students chances to see more wildlife and possibly increase their lifelong activity goals outside and in nature! Do not be fooled by the amount of students served. This will be a yearly program that will provide for many more students over the course of multiple school years.
