Students will learn math by playing an augmented-reality geometry board game called Cyberchase Shape Quest. To participate, kids point an tablet camera at a paper board, which then comes to life with animated math challenges. This application teachers geometry, problem solving and spatial reasoning in an interactive, responsive way. Our classroom will use the tablets to upload homework assignments, pictures, test scores and assessments to family members both in Las Vegas NV and family living in Mexico and other parts of Central America. I will be able to communicate through Seesaw with family members . According to Tamara McCleary, CEO of brand strategy firm Thulium, 85% of jobs in 2030 have not been created yet. I want to provide needed tablets to my students who live in economic hardship. Technology will help my students prepare for University or the workforce in 2030. My Las Vegas NV students will succeed!
