Students already struggle and often feel inferior when it comes to math. I constantly encourage and do whatever I can to build confidence. Technology will take them to a fresher perspective When students are actively engaged in the classroom, they tend to think less about their preconceived thoughts and push themselves because they are having fun! I plan to use a variety of educational websites to distract my students from the ordinary paper and pencil problem-solving in order to allow my students to see math in a new and different way! Students have come back to me and told me they left my classroom with a newfound confidence in math.
