Many of my students come into school without pencils, especially at this point in the school year. I want my classroom to be a place where they can equip themselves to learn, so I want to set up a new pencil sharpener station in my classroom. Currently, we have an old hand sharpener on the wall which prohibits students being able to get ready to work on their math work in a timely manner. Providing my students with a new electric pencil sharpener and plenty of new wooden pencils to sharpen, will show them that I am confident in their abilities to succeed in my classroom. Students will be able to make themselves ready for math work with little trouble and will be ready to learn. My student's learning will be bolstered by the excitement of receiving a gift to help them with their educational endeavors.
