My students do not come to school with the supplies or desire they need to write in class. I try to provide these materials to my students throughout the year to save time and frustration for both my students and I. Many of my students are below grade level in their writing abilities so getting them excited about writing is a difficult task. Colorful pens, pencils, and fun journals help encourage students to write and make it feel less like a tedious task. I want them to grow a new love for writing by engaging them in their journals. I love learning about my students through their writing. Please help by giving my students the resources to put their inspirations down on paper.
