These materials will be helpful to my students when they learn the foundational concept of 10, compose and decompose numbers, base 10, place value and well as comparing sets of objects. They will get a chance to move around instead of being in their seats. In the past we have used duck tape on the carpet but it is really hard to come off after a few days. With these giant 10 frames, my students will be able to quickly have assess to them as well as put them away quickly when they are done making sure that we don't waste valuable instructional time. They will love that they will be able to work with a partner to reinforce learning with these giant 10 frames.
