The products that I have selected will help my students with hands-on learning opportunities in math, reading, writing, and social skills! These will be extremely beneficial for some students that need to connect a visual to the academic concepts. The headphones will help student's with disabilities use interactive technologies such as speech to-text. The dry erase boards and markers will be used in all academic areas to reduce cut down on the need for paper products. The books will be used to promote fluency as well has offering students visual cues for writing assignments and helping to learn phonics patterns. Due to the pandemic and lack of socialization and isolation my students experienced, there are many behavioral difficulties they are experiencing this year. The fidgets help them tremendously when teaching my students calm down strategies and in social emotional learning. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional learning options will help us grow even more!
