By allowing my students have these different options for seating they feel like they have some control in their learning. I want my students to be able to make decisions in their learning and even thought this is something very minor it may lead to a huge outcome in their learning. Comfortably is super important in our classroom and in order for my students to learn I want them to be comfortable first and foremost. By donating the balance ball to my students, they will be comfortable in my classroom learning. Allowing them to have the option from a normal chair to a wobble cushion gives them a sense of ownership in their learning. Early on we want our students to start decision making skills and this is a great way to start.
