These classroom iPads will be used to provide intensive reading instruction to students with special needs. My students will receive small group reading instruction and then receive additional instruction and assessment by accessing the program app through their iPad. Each student in my classroom is reading significantly below grade level and in need of intensive intervention. My students need constant praise and encouragement. Through this technology my students will be able to not only access their reading program, but grow in their ability to utilize technology to better themselves and learn new skills. Having access to classroom iPads will help bridge the gap in their learning and meet their individual needs. My students will be utilizing this technology daily as they soar to new horizons in reading!
