With the addition of these materials to my classroom, I hope to make it feel like their home away from home. All educators have heard the quote, "They do not care what you know, until they know that you care". I feel like giving them this classroom will help them feel comfortable and relaxed and allow us all to get to know one another more quickly. In addition to COVID, our students also overcame Hurricane Sally this past year. These stools will allow me to more easily work with small groups at my table. The felt will allow the students to quietly move their chairs without interrupting other students. Overall, I believe these new materials will help the students be confident and take pride in their learning.

About my class
