We like to start our morning together as a team on this new carpet. We greet each other every morning and build positive relationships during this time. Students can start their day in the classroom with a positive mindset. It allows students to forget about whatever morning they had and let them reset their minds for learning, fun and friendships. This rug reinforces the safe environment that is created in my classroom. It allows students to know that on that rug they are loved and cared about by not only their school and teachers but their peers too. Building conversation skills and learning about friendship and teamwork is essential for a well functioning classroom.

About my class
