We LOVE books!! Unfortunately, our books currently do not have an easily accessible home for my students to access. Our school has been blessed with a new building starting this school year but the majority of our storage space in our classrooms is closed to students. We have plenty of storage space for manipulatives and center activities but hardly any book shelves. Books give my students the opportunity to learn and explore without leaving the classroom. With this book shelf I will be able to give my students access to many of their favorite characters, authors and genres that would otherwise be stored up in a cabinet and likely forgotten. Over the years I have built a classroom library of 2,000+ books for my students. This book shelf will ensure that my students will have ample opportunity to have an amazing book in their hands each day.
