My students love to read and have asked for a couple of current book series. They love the Dog Man and Owl Diaries series. They would also love a comfy place to sit and read. Each student in my class has a reading goal for each quarter, so these books would help them towards meeting their reading goals. New books would mean so much to my class! My class has been so excited for every read aloud that I have done so far this year. I am also hoping for a few new read aloud mentor texts to use in my reading lessons.
