STEM has been implemented because statistics show that our jobs in STEM are vacant because 78% of high school graduates have been proven unprepared for college courses including course in mathematics, science, reading, and English. I want to ensure that my students are prepared starting in 6th grade. The first project we will be using the solar panels, scholars will have the opportunity to study solar energy or bridge as a part of a larger overview of renewable resources. The ability to build a roller coaster or bridge in the classroom involves students in geometry and measurements as they work as civil engineers.
