Imagine colorful plastic tubs holding a variety of unusual materials just waiting to be brought to vibrant life by little hands. Fearless learners, ready to actively engage in activities to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math into our daily practice in the Kindergarten classroom. STEAM resources encourage students to explore the world around them, develop and create innovative solutions to problems, think deeply, work collaboratively and communicate their results effectively to others. One student may be identifying shapes, one may be building a two dimensional flat picture and still others may be constructing a three dimensional structure using the same materials. Unstructured activities encourage students to take risks while being supported by intrinsic classroom structures and routines.
