I have picked out necessary cleaning and sanitation supplies to help keep my class as clean as possible (which is a difficult task with middle schoolers). As a new teacher, I need to collect posters and decorations to help my class come alive and be a place where students enjoy learning. Also, I am excited to have found the primary sourcebooks. I want to teach my students to be active historians and use critical thinking skills to investigate the past through primary sources. History is more engaging when students learn that it's not set in stone because the historians who write it have biases. Therefore, primary sources are essential to my lesson plans because it gets students to actively debate the past. Thank you for your support and consideration!
