Many of our students have chronic health concerns, such as, asthma, diabetes, and seizures. We need a safe way to carry these medications with us in case of a school emergency. The mobile tool box/med cart will allow the nurse to have all emergency medications for students in the event of a school evacuation. Nothing would be worse for our students than to be locked out of the building without their medications. Easy access to and inhaler or to insulin could make the difference between life and death for our students. This cart will make it easier for the nurse to care for our students' health.
