My students are 6th and 7th grade students in a New York City Public School who all have a learning disability. Disabilities range from autism to ADHD. Their abilities range from a 2nd grade level to about a 6th grade level. Students who have learning disabilities don't learn like everyone else can. They need additional resources to help them understand the material and curriculum that they are held accountable for. Hands-on materials are proven to help students with disabilities.
