One of our themes, Buildings and Tunnels, will explore how buildings and tunnels are formed, which will give the students an opportunity to create buildings using the Magna-Tiles. These tiles provide endless hours for students to imagine and create unique structures. There just are not enough to go around and the children have to disassemble their projects almost immediately to allow other children to use them. They would like continue building their project later or the next day if they have to leave it. The students love working with these tiles and creating structures that are very impressive for 4 and 5 year old children. Another theme is Community Helpers and the children are in need of more costumes to have a variety of occupations to explore. These items will enhance the children's socialization skills, as well as, team building, alphabets, and word association.
