This is my first year teaching 7th Grade ELA! Our school district was recently placed under the Mississippi Achievement School District. We are moving into new challenges that will only enhance the skills of our scholars. I have already painted my classroom school colors (red and gray) to bring back school pride. The red chairs will help us accomplish the goal of turning a traditional classroom into a transforming, intellectual, eager to learn classroom! The environment is conducive to the learning of each scholar! In a community that has a high percentage of poverty, this project will help stimulate the scholars’ minds as they enter a classroom like no other!
