Books bring to life the dreams of children through pictures and words. My students struggle in the real world and by giving them access to books and magazines that are just for them to use in their classroom opens up a whole new world. Because we are a Title I school and a self-contained classroom, we do not always have the same access to the school library as the general education students. The idea of having access to books in our own comfortable and safe environment to read and love over and over at our own pace opens up a world of dreams. We love to listen to stories and to look at the picture books and imagine what will happen next in the story. There are so many ways to enjoy books and we want all of the adventures the world of literature has to offer. Thank you for considering our request.
