These physical education supplies will help our students to be able to take accountability and responsibility of their personal health and fitness goals. Many of our students do not have immediate access to fitness equipment therefore they do not learn how to properly workout or even the importance of exercise. The equipment listed will help create an environment for students to be excited about physical fitness and nutrition. The obesity rate in America is extremely high compared to other countries, and this is due to the reduction in funding for electives such as Physical Education. Without proper equipment, students are at a disadvantage and at a higher risk to develop diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure as young adults. Students will also get to learn methods of exercise to take back to their families and encourage and overall healthier lifestyle.
