When students are not in school they are so busy with other activities or too hooked on technology that reading during non-school hours may not happen. I love to start each period with about 10 minutes of quiet reading time. This helps the students decompress from the last class and prepare them for science class. These engaging and colorful science books will spark interest and curiosity in the students all year long and many students for years to come. Help me build my class library and fill my shelves with fun, engaging science books that the students will enjoy for years to come.
