As a speech language pathologist, I help students communicate, learn, and connect – with their friends, their curriculum, their community, their families, and themselves. As I enter my second year of work, I hope to bring them new books and fascinating ways of discovering ideas and concepts through interactive games, as well as through the materials I make using laminating sheets and velcro dots. It takes hours of work to put together my materials, but when a student is finally able to formulate sentences and speak to their parents, it's the most rewarding feeling. I can't wait to see their reactions – thank you for helping me make this possible!
