Every classroom needs to be comfortable and inviting in order for a child to feel they can be successful, especially for little learners. As a kindergarten teacher, a carpet with flexible seating is exactly what I need to make my classroom a great learning space for every student, no matter what their learning style preference is. With this large carpet and flexible seating, I can let students take a break from their desks and enjoy classroom time together! Imagine having to sit at a desk all day as a kindergartener. By donating to my project, you will give my students the opportunity to be engaged in lessons each day, while also allowing each child to feel comfortable and stress-free! Read alouds, morning meetings, and independent reading time are all examples of when the carpet will be used. Not only are these essential times to learn throughout the day, but also essential for a student's social growth. I have witnessed carpet time to be a favorite amongst many children because it gives them a chance to just be kids (they do not even realize all the learning that happens here)! Having my students be able to come to a carpet or flexible seat and feel a sense of community is a very important aspect of school that I would love to have in my classroom! Please consider donating to my class in order to give my students an inviting learning environment that is fun and functioning for all. A carpet and seat can last for many years, which means you will be providing hundreds of children with an amazing learning space!
