My students love center time! It is their favorite part of our school day. Learning through play is an integral part of the early childhood classroom. I want to increase center time engagement by adding some additional items to our classroom dramatic play center and discovery center. These items will provide students with more opportunities to play and explore. I would like them to have soft sand, magnet learning centers, and squishy dough for our discovery center that will provide a sensory learning experience for my early learners. The dramatic play center is a student favorite! Girls and boys enjoy pretending to be parents to the baby dolls. I would like to give our (bare) dolls new clothes and blankets.
