Many students that walk through our schools doors are entering the most safe and nurturing environment they know. Coming from troubled pasts have taken their toll, but you couldn't tell with my students. They are creative, resilient, and always looking for a new way to learn and express themselves. 3D printing pens allow them to do both. Expression of ones creativity is very important to my students. Not only do these pens allow for them to create beautiful art or construct a part to fix a broken machine, but it allows these students to take ownership over their learning. Ownership is something these kiddos have very little of, so this is huge in their worlds. Without the support of the community and others willing to lend a hand, these students would not have access to these valuable resources. Thank you for your time and contributing to making these kids' year!
