The supplies and furniture that I am requesting for my scholars is for them to become even better at being insightful and engaged mathematicians! In the 21st-century, students are highly engaged in learning through technology and hands-on activities. With the tablets, students will be able to engage in online math games and applications, be able to create and develop landscapes using shapes and angles, work on their math projects, and share their creations across our network. In having differentiated seating options, my scholars will be able to locate a comfortable spot in the classroom to complete their work as well as work in groups or independently. Having storage bins and organizers will help keep the classroom organized and make locating assignments a lot easier for my scholars when they are working at different stations. By donating to our project, you are giving our scholars the opportunity to explore their learning styles as well as help increase the amount of attention our scholars give, improve their overall engagement, and increase their academic achievement. I noticed that when students, are comfortable, they become open and willing to learn and are able to give their full attention to the task at hand. Using technology in the classroom has become essential in keeping up with my scholars attention spans. Students find comfort in being able to jump from one task to another after short periods of time, therefore, having tablets where students can do work and receive immediate feedback is beneficial and my students. Technology and flexible seating allows students to be accountable for their learning as well build an effective classroom culture.
