For my students, I want to create an environment that fosters greatness. An environment that allows for the student to see beyond their immediate circumstances. I also plan to teach my students to plan for their future. I hope to enlighten my students with the numerous opportunities available for them which can ultimately result in the right learning path. Being able to learn while in play allows for the student to begin to see the practical use for the knowledge they are obtaining. Learning to uplift yourself can be one of the most transformational actions a person embarks on. I want to teach the students to look within to uplift themselves and to be their #1 Cheerleader. Offering the students the opportunity to create their own 'Positive Affirmations' posters and laminating them will be an inspiring class project. The finish project will allow the students to see how their words can motivate others in a positive way. The students will be able to be rewarded with the 'Treasure Chest', and we will also incorporate 'Incentive Charts' as they reach their milestones. Having a reward system allows for the students to see the benefit of their efforts. Being able to see unlimited possibilities for their future, will allow for the students to strive for more and higher opportunities. I plan to enhance my student’s academic future by helping set and reach their individual goals. Beginning to set up a positive and solid foundation in mathematics, by 'Learning Algebra Skills', will allow for the students to build a strong foundation that can be built upon. Having snacks available for students, ensures that no child will be hindered in the learning process, due to hunger. Dreaming of greatness is the beginning of obtaining it!
