The best learning will occur when students feel safe, respected, and comfortable in the classroom. A wide variety of seating options will allow my students to pick a seating style that works for them and that may change day-to-day. Sitting in a traditional desk is hard for many of my students, and I want them to have the opportunity to find a comfy place to get lost in a book or let their creative juices flow while writing. This project will allow me to meet the diverse needs of my students and create a classroom they enjoy coming to each day.

About my class
