The materials that I have requested for my students will allow for them to be as successful as possible in our environment. Many of my students have untreated ADD/ADHD or they simply come from lives involving some sort of trauma and they just are not capable of sitting still for long periods of time. With flexible seating, my students will be allowed to find seats and spaces that will work best for them on a given day. Unfortunately sitting in a desk is just not the ideal situation for most of our children and this flexibility to move to a more comfortable, happy place will benefit my students beyond what I can even express here! I want to provide my students with the most comfortable, flexible, happy environment and these supplies here will help me to create an environment that is most conducive to learning.
