Every student deserves an equal opportunity to learn and be successful in the classroom. Many basic items are necessary for students to learn. However, many of the students that I teach do not have the basic supplies needed in order to be successful. Pencils, glue sticks, scissors, etc. are basic supplies that every student in my classroom will need in order to successfully complete projects and laboratory experiences. Students will utilize the basic supplies daily. My students will also use the supplies to create and utilize science notebooks throughout the school year. A periodic table will be included in each student's science notebook. Page protectors will be used to keep the periodic tables in good condition throughout the school year. Scotch tape and the dividers will also be used in the student's science notebooks. In my classroom, science notebooks are an essential tool for keeping student work organized and accessible throughout the school year!
