In my classroom, I need my art room surfaces to work for me, not against me. I work hard to set up my art room as an organized and inviting space for my learners. Sadly, when students walk into my art room with tables so old and worn out that they can’t function as a drawing surface, it sends a message that the school hasn’t prepared a learning environment for them. I want to give my students an outstanding art program so they can take ownership of their school, and that starts with updated furniture. New tables will send the message to my artists that we care about them!
