Our Ola girls lacrosse program has grown tremendously in the past few years. The program is in its fifth year and has made great strides including our first region championship, and a trip to the first round of state playoffs. The first year the team only had eleven players to make a twelve person team. Four years later, there are a steadily between thirty and forty girls trying out for Varsity and Junior Varsity level teams. With such an increase in number we are in need of equipment to run both varsity and junior varsity practices and games effectively. Proper equipment for games and practices are essential. Game balls must be a specific color and brand. The girls need them for both games and practices. Nets are also needed for the goals. Unfortunately, these two items rarely make it from one season to the next simply due to the weather elements and typical wear. We would really appreciate any assistance with these items as we try to reach our goal of making through to the second round of state playoffs this year and possibly beyond.
