Having a classroom rug big enough for every child to comfortably sit on is so important! We are constantly spending time together on the rug, and they need to hav enough personal space so that they are not worried about whether the child beside them is touching them or not (a true battle in kindergarten). Having them spread out also takes a huge load off of me as their teacher. There are clear defined spaces, so they will know which spot is theirs. This new rug will not only add beauty to the room, but it will also make whole group time and transitions so much easier!
