My students do not have many books to read at home. I want to help fill their minds with all kinds of interesting information and funny books that will become their favorites. I want to offer them different seating options to help them learn in their own way. We are in need of new carpets in our room. We would love to not have to sit on the concrete floor during carpet time. I would like seating that is easily wiped off in case of sickness . I came into this classroom midyear last January. It was my first year teaching and I took on the job unexpectedly. I was not able to prepare the classroom in the way I would have liked. This year I have many ideas to help the students' learning experience, but will need help to accomplish them. I know it doesn't take a pretty room to teach and learn but I want to offer a place where students learn and have fun together.
