Our current easel is very out dated. It is an immobile wooden easel that is missing pieces from being handed down from teacher to teacher. It no longer has a marker tray or big book holder. It is not two sided which hurts our learning when switching activities quickly. And in kindergarten, you need to keep the learning energy going before their energy takes over! We will use our new easel for many different learning adventures! Our new magnetic whiteboard will help with interactive sorts in all subjects, we can quickly learn about editing in writing and solve lots of math problems here too! Hanging chart paper will be great for our shared reading and writing activities where the students get to write on the teacher easel! The new ledge will hold big books for shared reading and enjoyable read alouds. The bins below will store materials to be easily reached during all these activities. Finally, the wheels will help this easel move where ever the learning is occurring around our room!
