My general education/special education mixed chemistry class has a wide range of abilities. When students understand the material quickly, I need activities that can be self-led but extends their knowledge on the subject. I want to provide experiments, games, and books that make chemistry interesting and continues to show students how chemistry applies to life. I have some experiments already lined up for them, but the books and games will be a great addition to the library of options so that all students can be accommodated and find something that interests them. Chemistry can sometimes be difficult to grasp and learning through play is the most effective way to learn!
