Our kids are over-stimulated! Help me build a calm, inviting learning environment where students can focus with soft surfaces such as a rug and lamp. I imagine my classroom as place where they can let out a sigh of relief; a tranquil place, full of love, compassion and kindness for not only each other but also nature. I imagine a classroom where students feel comfortable to curl up with their favorite book on our soft, new rug lit by a soft glow of paper lamps. I imagine a classroom that is clean and organized. I imagine a classroom that will stimulate them as problem solvers.
