Today, STEM and STEAM learning is so very important to nurturing students and keeping them engaged. With this project grant, I am looking to jump start my classroom and my students into a STEM/STEAM related environment. My goal is to set up a more impactful environment where students are able to collaborate more effectively because of how they are stationed. Creating collaboration stations will give my students opportunities to take ownership and pride in their work. They will have their own space, while still being able to navigate collaboratively. Having spaces to make their own by the tools given will prepare them for real world learning and never ending experiences.
