With these new materials, my students will be able to seek an alternative space to sit other than their table chairs, as they work through new curriculum. Collaborative workspaces will be enhanced by floor seating and lap desks. Students will be free to explore how and where they learn best. The students will be able to take charge of their learning in additional ways, making good choices for themselves during the day. My students will be more engaged and enthusiastic allowing for more on-task behavior and work completion. They will have more effective learning choices with the additional seating. Some just need to get the wiggles out while they work.
