Being a first year teacher, accumulating classroom resources for my students are an essential part of my first few months. Coming from my student teaching experience, I was introduced to the idea of flexible seating options for my students. Seeing how well it worked last year, I knew this was something I wanted to obtain before the beginning of the year. Flexible seating options will provide accommodations for all learners, especially the kiddos that have a little bit more of the wiggles. Students that thrive with having a bit more space, or concentrate better when they are seated in a comfortable chair will benefit from the alternative options, which will in turn lend positively to their every day learning.
