These wobbly stools are very effective tools to have in the classroom with active children. I have seen it firsthand with one stool I have in the classroom. A student had it written in their accomodation plan that he needed to have this stool instead of a regular chair. This child was able to release nervous energy with the movement of the stool while still focusing on and completing his work. There were many other students who could have also benefited from the use of a wobbly stool. Students that use flexible seating are likely to be more comfortable which equates to students that are engaged in the classroom community.
