These products will make a difference in both students' academic experiences, as well as their social-emotional development. For example, these young learners will be able to engage with our study in Expedition of "Tools" by working with toys such as "Architect's Building Set." Additionally, students will use lap tops to help them craft their own personal narratives in both English and Spanish. In addition to their academic growth, I've requested items to help make our classroom more safe and inviting. The yoga cards will help give students necessary brain breaks and develop more bodily awareness. Additionally, the salt lamp will be placed in our "Cozy Corner" where students go when they need to take time to reset or calm down. These items align with our school's Expeditionary Learning curriculum and principles which focus on three dimensions of student achievement: Mastery of Knowledge & Skills, Character, and High-Quality Work.
