Our classroom library is in of need of interesting and relevant books. These books will help English Language Learners (ELLs) improve their academic literacy skills and language proficiency, while respecting their age (teens, high school). Grade appropriate books printed at a variety of reading levels will help students be more motivated to read. Having books that are accessible to all learners, while remaining age appropriate and relevant is critical for students who are simultaneously learning a new language and strengthening literacy skills. All students should have the opportunity to be proud about what they are reading.
