Most of my students don't come from the most stable households. In my room, I try my best to make them comfortable and help them feel like normal children. It's my job to do whatever I can to foster an environment that is both comfortable and productive. These flexible seating options will allow my students to approach their learning in a safe and comfortable setting. A traditional classroom seating arrangement can be overwhelming and unnerving to them. The Kore stools and Gaim ball chairs will break those nerves down and allow them to focus on their academic work. A lot of the Reading and Math Interventions that we have are Computer/iPad based. The Sony headphones will allow my students to focus better on their own interventions and not be distracted by those of the students around them.
