The use of laptops for learning is inevitable in today's schools. Having these chromebooks will open up so many possibilities in their learning! Unfortunately, we currently get chromebooks one day a week which is not nearly enough time to adequately cover the skills needed for technology requirements. Having these laptops everyday will allow them to become more familiar with the use of technology while learning on a broader scale. Your donation will give my students access to technological tools and activities that encourage problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and innovation. Activities such as problem-based learning, live video sessions with classes in other parts of the world, or even virtual field trips! Students will also learn how to conduct research, a skill that needs to be taught at this grade level. They will use the chromebooks in a variety of ways that will enhance their learning while building their confidence as 21st century learners.
