Many of my students have a hard time in school. They often become overwhelmed and need a safe place that they feel comfortable to regain composure before going back to their classrooms. These bean bag chairs will be one of the major parts of my cool down zone! The students will be able to come into the room and relax in a place that feels like home. It will be a place that the students can hang out with their peers and make connections. For many of these kids forming relationships is the hardest part of school. It is my hope that this cool down space will provide them a safe environment to begin making connections with their peers.
