The supplies and materials requested will be used daily in my classroom. They will be used to help enhance the learning of my students. Although my students were asked to purchase crayons, markers, and pencils, these are things that will be used often so they will run out quickly. I want to have a class set available when needed. I want to provide my students with a phenomenal classroom library. I have requested two sets of library books to start the collection. Our library will be one of our literacy centers as well as an area for my students to visit once they have finished their assigned work. My students will also be able to choose books during independent reading time. To help with the management of our classroom, my students will be assigned class jobs daily. This is where the clothespins will be used. I envision having an interactive learning environment. Each of my students' names will be placed on a stick and I will call on them randomly. This is where the people shaped craft sticks will be used. The slot mailboxes will be used to file student work.
