Chess club helps the children to feel a sense of inclusion. It also teaches them strategy team building and a lifelong skill. Using actual boards instead of electronics is the goal for this club. Our group currently is only using one chess board and we would need additional boards in order to accommodate all students who are interested in joining this newly developed student-led chess club. We are also a title one school so our students need assistance and funding foremost projects. Thank you very much. Any help is appreciated.
